I think those might be Spanish bluebells, natives have just the one flower per stem. Spanish ones often show up earlier.
Elaine and I they were probably Spanish, though I certainly wouldn’t have been able to describe the difference as clearly as you. But they still stimulated reflections on the changes in the year.
I saw flower buds on hawthorn yesterday, so definitely some things are early.
That’s great to hear. I do sense some movement. It’s an odd year, though, so far.
